I went to Rikuzentakata in Tohoku region this summer 2023.


I have been to the City (Rikuzentakata) often on business from Kesen-numa direction (right) before.
From here, you could see the magnificent sea beyond the pine forest (now only one named Miracle Pine Tree).
But, now we can’t see the sea without going up the 54 steps of the tidal embankment.
